My brother-in-law turned a little early, and thought he was going the right way to the beach (he wasn’t). When we got to gravel road and later potholes, he decided to commit and keep going as we can see the ocean ahead and a few cars, so “there must be something there, right?”.
Normally I would be all for it! EXCEPT: 1) We were in a mini-van 2) My parents were not into it 3) My sister was not into it 4) My 4-year old nephew was not enjoying it 5) My 1-year old nephew was not into it, but then promptly fell asleep and 6) I was more worried about the tires.
10:25am – I was out the door and in the car as my brother in law, Anthony, drove me to YVR airport. My flight was at 1:59pm, but I prefer arriving a little early to get through security and just settle and maybe grab a bite to eat.
Luckily, by having a Nexus card, I breezed through the security line-up quite easily. It took a total of maybe 7 minutes (?) Not long at all! I almost forgot my Toronto Blue Jays hat because I breezed through security so easily!
It’s so nice to see my boys again! If you remember, or watched any of my New York City vlogs, I went over and stayed at my friend Rob’s apartment (along with his roommate, Baba) for a little over 2 weeks.
As soon as we got off the plane we went straight to the car rental shuttle.
After we picked up our car, we spent a good half hour trying to find the exit to get on the highway towards Boulder City, but the signs were confusing (three days llater found, we weren’t the only one’s who were confused, other people were too). Continue reading →
