Adrian and I left for Kamloops yesterday, March 07, 2020 as the first of our series of trips this year.
This is my 2nd year joining my co-worker, Harleen’s, Run for the Cure team “Breasties”. My co-worker has gone through breast cancer and a whole slew of other things in her life the past 5 years (since I’ve known her) and maybe more.
Backstreet’s back ALRIGHT! Second time seeing them in (maybe) 3 or 4 years??? With MUCH better seats and a MUCH better experience since the first time I saw them perform I was at the very top of the stadium and near the railing. It was so low, I thought I would fall over from singing and dancing.
They played ALL the classics that I still listen to on my “Throwback Playlist” I made on Spotify. It was EPIC!
I finally made it to Elfin Lakes! My friend, Adrian, has been trying to get me to make it out there for the past year!
It was a good test for me as I started doing kickboxing at the start of this year and I wanted to improve my strength and conditioning. It’s an 11km hike (there and back), in total 22km.
