We are leaving today! We have to leave our campsite at 11am, andd I took this photo a little past 7 in the morning. I woke up once at 5am and then again an hour later and I figured it’s so nice out I really want to go down to the beach. So, I got dressed and told my friend Amy where I was going (because safety, kids).
I walked down and there were maybe a few people on the beach walking their dogs. It wasn’t windy at all! It was just perfect. Continue reading →
I was really contemplating on whether or not I should head downtown with friends to check out events happening there. But, I just didn’t feel like having to skytrain over and deal with all the crowds haha Instead, as luck would have it, my friends, JON & ROY were performing in Burnaby and my friend Darcy was the sound guy for the event. Also, 54-40 were headlining and I haven’t seen them perform since ROCK THE SHORES last year and the venue was 20 minutes away from my place! The choice was clearly obvious. I “lightly” ditched my friends and headed solo over to Swangard Stadium.
After work on Thursday, I picked up my friend Kat — who you’ve seen in a challenge video I did with her called “You Don’t Know Me” (link here: https://youtu.be/RpN71lWY6Lg?list=PLk…) at the ferry terminal
We then went to the grocery store and made dinner and then attempted or I attempted to make a fire using the outdoor fireplace I built.
The fire just would not catch on that log no matter how much kindling I put. Oh well, I will conquer it soon enough!
Tomorrow (Friday for us, Tuesday for you), we are leaving for the USA! First stop: SEATTLE, WA!!!
See you then!
I take concert photography, travel vlogs, day vlogs, and sometimes, I do a bunch of random fun videos!

So, a few videos ago I mentioned that I wanted to go check out Toy Traders located in Langley, BC.
I first heard of this place from two coworkers and they pretty much said that I HAD to go check this store out, so I finally did! And, I took you guys along with me to experience the whole thing.
My brother-in-law and baby nephew came along with me. I pretty much just pre-exposed my little nephew (who is less than 6 months old) to the wonders that he will soon learn to appreciate as he grows older. And he will look back at this video and appreciate it (he has no choice). 🙂
I filmed a little bit of my parents, cousins, and the food. I didn’t film that much of my sisters and friends I’ve seen over the course of the past week because I didn’t want to shove a camera in their faces.
I also shot a video of my mom playing Mortal Komboat against my sister…so I definitely want to post that “gaming” video on THURSDAY.
Tomorrow I will be vlogging and taking photos at the Commodore Ballroom of my good friends and local Victoria boys: CURRENT SWELL and special guests: JON & ROY! 😀 So expect TUESDAYS video of that to be awesome!
I uploaded more videos from this past week than I originally intended… ENJOY!
“PROJECT SURPRISE MY PARENTS” WAS A COMPLETE SUCCESS! HUZZAH!
Took my parents on a date: dinner at Cafe Mexico, and a stroll around downtown Victoria looking at all the beautiful lights around town. Including going to The Fairmont Empress Hotel and looking at all the decorated trees, as well as, checking out the outdoor skating rink. We then drove around Dallas Road to see if there were any more christmas lights to be seen. BUT THERE WASN’T REALLY AT ALL! Not even Uplands had any decorated houses except for maybe 3 houses… which was disappointing.
I discovered the next night that there are more houses decorated around Interurban (of all places, I would never have guessed!) If you ever lived or been to Victoria, then you will know where I’m talking about! 🙂
Honestly, Victoria is so beautiful during Christmas time, I never really appreciated it until I moved away haha
Happy Holidays! 🙂
I’ll see you Tuesday, I MIGHT put up a video on Thursday (we’ll see…), and I’ll try to vlog a little big of the “Thom Christmas” extravaganza!
Halloween is over and now we are in the middle of November, so you know what that means: CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS!
A friend and I went downtown and got lost in the mall that was suffocating us with perfume fragrances. *Death* We were trying to find the exit to the ACTUAL MALL. Turns out, we went into the wrong entrance (oops) (typical). I got distracted by TOP MAN and thought there were elevators in the store that goes up towards the actual mall…I was wrong. The entrance to the mall was actually across the street……
We then headed over to the German Christmas Market that just opened today! So we got there before the huge line-ups! (yay!)
We didn’t get to drink any of the hot apple cider or devour any delicious German food on account of us devouring some New York Fries poutine and Orange Julius earlier 😀
