PLEASE DON’T KILL ME

Saturday was just a busy fun hectic day!

First of all, I got up early in the morning to get ready to go meet up with my friend Kristy to go to the Icebreaker sale happening at some hotel downtown. Apparently this two-day sale is something that has been happening for a few years now.(?)screen-shot-2016-11-23-at-6-39-34-pm Continue reading

NERF WAR?

It’s Friday night and what was supposed to be a night of music bingo, dinner, and playing pool at the local pool hall — ended up being a night totally different from what we originally planned.

BEYONCÉ WAS THE BEST PART

Friday night I got asked to watch Doctor Strange with Adrian and his sister and friend. The theatre that we were going to was the one in Richmond. I have never been to the Silvercity in Richmond. Therefore, I was not PREPARED for the clusterfuck that is the underground parkade which is also the parkade for a T&T supermarket.

Needless to say, when I got there it was at 5pm. The movie doesn’t “start” until 5:15pm. The reason why I put the time in quotation marks is because (having worked at a Silvercity in Victoria for 9 years) that usually means at 5:15pm ads will be playing for a good 5 minutes and then the trailers will be another 10minutes. So I had a good 15 minutes before the actual movie starts.  Continue reading

I TOTALLY CALLED IT

SURPRISE! Another mini-blog post from another weekend in Victoria! (I swear if there was a points system from BC Ferries I would be WINNING).

My friend’s birthday party was happening Saturday of that weekend, and luckily enough my friends JON & ROY were performing at Sugar Friday night! I figured why not go and take photos of it! And make an even awesome weekend BETTER! Continue reading

PHOTO ADVENTURE AND HAUNTED STORIES WITH KAT

This might have been the longest vlog I’ve posted (yet!)

Seriously, you never really truly appreciate your hometown, until you don’t live there anymore! The same is true EVERY TIME I go over!

It’s funny. Vancouver used to be the place I would travel to get away from Victoria. And now, the roles have somehow reversed (which I never thought possible!)

CABIN TIMES AT YOUBOU

It was my friend, Kat’s birthday. And she decided this year to head to my friend Jen’s cabin for the weekend!

Every one was up there by the time my friend and I got there and I immediately wanted to head down towards the docks. I have a thing for docks so I was pretty amped.

It was only a short walk down towards the water.

The view was spectacular to say the least.

SWEEP ME OFF MY FEET

It’s the second to last day in Hawaii! 🙁 I’m so sad, but I couldn’t have had a better second-to-last day.

We went to The Four Seasons for lunch at The Beach Tree which was a patio restaurant that overlooks the beach that they had there.

While we were waiting for our table, I wandered over to the beach (because of course I did).IMG_0020 copy Continue reading

We are leaving today! We have to leave our campsite at 11am, andd I took this photo a little past 7 in the morning. I woke up once at 5am and then again an hour later and I figured it’s so nice out I really want to go down to the beach. So, I got dressed and told my friend Amy where I was going (because safety, kids).

I walked down and there were maybe a few people on the beach walking their dogs. It wasn’t windy at all! It was just perfect. Continue reading

Happy 4th of July, otherwise known as, the day we surprise my friend Sarah by having her stagette, camping at French Beach!

I met up with my friend Amy to pick up a few more things and then headed over to pick up one other person. The plan was that Sarah would be going hiking with her soon-to-be-sister-in-law and she knew she was having her stagette (so that part wasn’t really a surprise) but she didn’t know exactly where it was happening and who was going to be there. CANADA DAY

HAPPY CANADA DAY!

I was really contemplating on whether or not I should head downtown with friends to check out events happening there. But, I just didn’t feel like having to skytrain over and deal with all the crowds haha Instead, as luck would have it, my friends, JON & ROY were performing in Burnaby and my friend Darcy was the sound guy for the event. Also, 54-40 were headlining and I haven’t seen them perform since ROCK THE SHORES last year and the venue was 20 minutes away from my place! The choice was clearly obvious. I “lightly” ditched my friends and headed solo over to Swangard Stadium.
