Backstreet Boys

Backstreet’s back ALRIGHT! Second time seeing them in (maybe) 3 or 4 years??? With MUCH better seats and a MUCH better experience since the first time I saw them perform I was at the very top of the stadium and near the railing. It was so low, I thought I would fall over from singing and dancing.

They played ALL the classics that I still listen to on my “Throwback Playlist” I made on Spotify. It was EPIC!

Brian Littrell’s son, Baylee, opened for the group. A young country singer, emphasis on the YOUNG part. He reminded me of an old Jesse McCartney. Back in the day. His music and lyrics were so young and I felt old. He has a great voice, just like his dad, but I just couldn’t relate to the lyrics at all nor did I like seeing the lyrics run across the large screens that way. Every time it would run through, half the lyrics would cut off at the end of the left-side screen, and I’m not sure if that’s an aesthetic choice or what-not. Again, his voice is great and he looks very similar to his father and I can only assume his lyrics will mature over time (as most young artists did at 16 years old!). Again, I feel old. But then again, I’ve been a fan of the Backstreet Boys for 26 years soooo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
