This was maybe one of the more challenging hikes (so far) for me. Lots of incline, not enough breaths taken or exercise done to prepare haha
The views were, as always, amazing. Even when we were traversing large boulders and rocks, the view was still gorgeous!
Definitely worth the 5:30am wake-up call!
We were trying to make it to at least 2 lakes that day, but because we had such limited time we made it to one lake and maybe over half-way to the next one. Unfortunately, we had to turn around as we were on a time constraint.
No bears sighted, so I guess that’s a good thing? Also some dude was flying his GoPro Karma drone and I half-wished I had brought mine as well and also half-glad I didn’t. Also I thought this was a provincial park and drones were not allowed????
But I guess since we were there around 9am and there wasn’t that many people I could have flown it. But again, we were on a time restraint and if we were to stop every time I wanted to fly Pooka (my drone) then we wouldn’t have made it as far as we did that day.
