On Tuesday I picked up my friend Amy at the ferry terminal and we did a couple errands before we headed back to my place.
At 4:45am, we were out the door and headed towards the Peace Arc Border to head to Bellingham airport. It is so much cheaper flying from Bellingham than the Vancouver airport to Vegas… just saying!
It was about an hour drive towards the airport. We parked at the $5/day lot instead of the more expensive one that was right in front of the terminal. Luckily, Amy saw a sign where it said if you leave your headlights on, a shuttle will come and pick you up and drop you off at the terminal. GREAT!
After getting dropped off by the shuttle, we proceeded to go through security/customs as I already checked us in via the airline app we were flying on: Allegiant Air. (Sidenote: the app Allegiant2Go is very useful! You can check-in and check if your flight is on time, etc. It was a pretty basic app which is why I liked it so much).
We got through security just before a huge line of people came in after us, so that was very lucky. (Our tube of farts for the next 3 hours… yay…!)
The flight from take-off to landing was probably the smoothest flight me and Amy have ever ridden. And, one of the many things I’ve learnt during this trip was Amy is a nervous flyer and even she was impressed. So that’s saying something.
We arrived in Vegas just after 11am and was greeted by slot machines! VIVA LAS VEGAS!
The adventure continues and the next vlog will be up soon!
