Song “Trouble”

Happy 4th of July, otherwise known as, the day we surprise my friend Sarah by having her stagette, camping at French Beach!

I met up with my friend Amy to pick up a few more things and then headed over to pick up one other person. The plan was that Sarah would be going hiking with her soon-to-be-sister-in-law and she knew she was having her stagette (so that part wasn’t really a surprise) but she didn’t know exactly where it was happening and who was going to be there. We got to the campsite before everyone else and started putting up our tent, etc. We had a total of two campsites for our party.IMAG1239

After everyone had shown up and put up there tents, we headed down to the beach which was a 10 min walk away…

I was told to take this photo from the bride-to-be. Such class.IMG_0021IMG_0022Screen Shot 2015-07-11 at 2.39.29 PM Screen Shot 2015-07-11 at 2.40.36 PM

We then spent the past few hours laying on the flat pebbled beach, and later Amy and I went and climbed a tree stump…

Afterwards a few of us played “extreme” bocci on the beach. We then got hungry and headed back up to our campsite andĀ made hotdogs and pasta. We sat around in a circle and hung out, and then decided to head back down to the beach because why not, right?

The sun was about to set in an hour so I set up a time lapse and it came out pretty awesome. Albeit, the phone was knocked over a couple times because we were playing “Sociables”.

We stayed out until it got dark because we wanted to wait if we could see any 4th of July fireworks. And we did see some along the horizon in short spurts and in one or two directions. But it was pretty cool.

We then headed back and a bunch of other stuff happened in which Sarah thought she lost her phone but I was 100% sure it was in her backpack, even though she insisted that she checked “thoroughly”. But because she seemed really worried I grabbed my flash light and we went back down to the beach to where we were and started looking at where we were all sitting before. After a good 20 min or so… we headed back up and I asked Sarah if she could check her backpack one last time. And 30 seconds of taking stuff out she found it IN HER BAG. Called it.

Part 2 on Thursday!
