James William Hindle “Leaving Trains”
This weekend I went over to Victoria mainly for my friend’s baby shower on Sunday. The ferry ride over was just amazing! I don’t really like getting out of my car to head upstairs while i’m on the ferry, but I got out of my car and walked towards the open window in the car parkade (not sure what the proper term is for that area) and the view was simply amazing!
I had found THE BEST SPOT on the ferry. This will forever be “my spot” whenever I get onto the ferry. I will look for this spot and I will sit on it!
Two hours later, I had arrived in Victoria. I had the whole house to myself this weekend! After I stuffed my face with food (obviously), my mom had messaged me about there being boxes filled with our childhood books in the garage that needed sorting because they were getting rid of some stuff.
As you notice from the video, the struggle was too real! I found some old Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, The Babysitter’s Club, Fraggle books, The Berenstein Bears, old-school Disney books, comic books, etc. I basically told my mom to keep all of the kids books! My nephew will learn to love them as he grows older! An hour later, my cousin Jeff (who you’ve seen in videos before) and Evan came over.
On Saturday morning, I visited my friend Jamie and penny-boarded a little bit. Later in the afternoon, I hung out with friends at one of there backyards. It was such a hot day, we decided to sit ON CHAIRS in the kiddy pool. It’s enough to say it was the best decision we ever made and it makes me want to purchase one of these kiddy pools for my backyard!
Three or four hours later, I left and went and met up with my friend Megan. We went to go see “Mad Max” at our old work, Cinexplex Theatres. The movie was pretty amazing!
Sunday — it was my friend’s baby shower! We played a few games, I won two out of the four! Woop! Here’s a group photo that we shot on a selfie-stick.
All in all, it was a nice and relaxing weekend! Hope you enjoyed this mini-blog!
I take concert photography, travel vlogs, day vlogs, and sometimes, I do a bunch of random fun videos!
